Pumpernickel from Daniel Leader's Bread Alone, made from my first rye sourdough, with molasses, coffee, and cocoa. Perfect texture and shape, taste a little heavy on the molasses. This is the bread people request most frequently, and one of my favorites, so I'll definitely try again soon.

Margene says:I LOVE pumpernickel! This one was a little sweet for me - maybe less molasses and other things to make it brown. I love molasses, but I wanted to taste more pumpernickel, less molasses. It was so pretty, though. I want more, and I want to have a tunafish and tomato sandwich on it!
