Stiff dough starter pain au levain, from Local Breads, with a mixture of soaked seeds (cornmeal, sesame, flaxseed, wheat berries). The seeds had a strange bleach-like smell when I uncovered them, but it didn't translate to the finished bread, which rose beautifully. Finally learning to trust my sourdough even when it doesn't poof up when rising.
One little loaf for the home, one to Catherine for a birthday treat.
